Polichinelle :

Polichinelle is a Napolitain personage who have very ancient origins, (called <<Maccus>> during the Antiquity) he was employed in the Commedia dell' Arte and in the theaters of puppets in Italy as well as in France. All dressed of white, he is a boasting , insolent and chaffer , noisy, glutton, drunkard, looking for quarrels, and also he is very jeering…
Having a big hooked nose, he got in France, a bump in front and one in back.
